Here We Go!

The big day has arrived!!!  We pull out of Asheville Saturday, July 3rd.  Rv is packed and ready to go.  The boys are excited.   Norm is beside himself with anticipation.  I am excited yet somewhat nervous!  Seems like a long time being away from home; my friends, my bed, my dishwasher, my big shower, my washer and dryer, (notice I didn't mention the cat).....I love being HOME.  But I know we are going to see sites I have never seen, go to places I have never been, and most importantly, spend some quality time with my family.  We are so blessed to have this opportunity, so I am going to enjoy every minute of it.  The blog will be a great way to document each day of the trip so the boys can look back years from now and see this awesome journey we took in the Summer of 2010.  We head out tomorrow knowing Norm has tracked each mile, reserved each campsite, estimated travel times, planned activities, etc.  Only God knows what's in store for us the next 29 days (yes, it got extended once again!).  We hope and pray that it's a safe, healthy, and joyful experience that brings us closer to each other and to Him.  Until tomorrow.
