Day 3

We started our day with the wonderful aroma of a big breakfast of pancakes and bacon, which really helps with the whiff of the "black tank" we get every now and then. Yuck!   We plotted our course for Memphis TN where we stopped at the Mississippi River Park to eat some lunch.  We took a short walk along the river afterwards to discover a very verbal, drunk, homeless man who didn't seem to like Norm very much.  The boys were a bit taken aback so we returned to the RV via a different route.
400 miles on the road and we stop for the night in Hot Springs, Arkansas which happens to be the "boyhood home of President Bill Clinton".  It is a beautiful KOA park with mini-golf, fishing, banana bikes, and pool.  We veered off Interstate 40 a bit to get a more scenic view of Arkansas and to go to the Magic Springs and Crystal Falls Amusement Park and Water Park tomorrow.  The boys are super excited!
Traveling today was a bit tense at times as Chase had a few meltdowns.  I think he is sleep deprived by about 4 hours, so hopefully we will hit the sack early tonight!  Bode, on the other hand got about a 3 hour nap and is a jewel this afternoon!  We have already ridden the banana bikes and hit the pool.  I don't feel like cooking tonight so we ordered a pizza they promise is wonderful.  We shall see.....The plan after dinner is to ride our bikes and veg out with a movie!  We have a big day of roller coasters and water slides tomorrow...until then!
