I am not really sure who came up with the idea, but we are in full throttle mode preparing for the big cross country trip! I think when we purchased the RV last year, we decided we needed to do something really BIG! The boys, now 6 and 9 are growing so fast, so we want to really enjoy these special years with them. They actually enjoy hanging out with us, and Norm and I love their fun and adventurous spirits, so why not spend 25 days in an RV driving across our great country?
Norm has been working really hard on the itinerary. He has an excel spreadsheet filled out with each day's travel time, gas, mileage, etc. He has booked each RV park stop. We are now planning the site-seeing part of the trip. There are so many beautiful places to see and interesting things to do along the way.
Still have some repairs to do on the RV, thanks to a minor flood during our last trip during Spring Break in DC. Eight weeks and counting......
